Composition 2 is an academic writing course that builds on the skills developed in Composition 1. Students strengthen their ability to write clear, organized, and evidence-based texts through critical reading, argumentative writing, source, evaluation, and the ethical use of written information. The course also emphasizes the creation of thesis statements for academic writing development, APA citation, paraphrasing, and responsible use of AI tools for writing and evaluating their student’s work.
